We're adding another brand-new UI/UX Designer role to our established product team.

What you’ll be doing

In this exciting role, you'll get to work in a feedback-focused environment which promotes continual learning and collaboration. Working closely with our super-supportive Lead UI/UX designer and product teams, you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience / exposure to working closely with our designers, developers and stakeholders on products that change people’s lives.

As part of the UI/UX team, you will explore complex user problems and balance them with business needs to create intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use products. You will be hands-on researching, documenting, wireframing, analysing, exploring ideas, prototyping, designing and testing to achieve the best outcome.

It is essential that you have an attitude reflective of DesignCrowd’s values and customer-centred design approach, along with a strong desire and ability to work in our collaborative, people focused organisation.

What we’re looking for

To be successful, you must have a great portfolio with your latest work and process. You must also be willing to work in cross-functional teams, moving fast, learning fast and designing in a collaborative environment.

We also require:

• 3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar UI/UX design role.
• Experience with Sketch and/or Adobe creative suite.
• Great communication skills is vital to this role as you would be working remotely with our Sydney team communicating mostly over email, messenger, and video conference.
• Communicating and rationalising design decisions and make trade-offs whenever appropriate.
