Job Description
What this job involves
- Manually test pull requests
- Manually test weekly releases
- Preparing bug reports for any issues identified
- QA of 3 WordPress plugins & 1 NodeJS web application
- Technical Support for WordPress plugins
Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5pm to 2am (Philippines time)
- Office Location: Makati City.
- Plenty of training and support will be provided to get the successful candidate up to speed
Minimum Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is both skilled and passionate about WordPress to join our growing team of WordPress experts to handle the manual software testing and technical support for a Europe-based WordPress plugin company.
Skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of WordPress API and ecosystem
- Must be able to diagnose WordPress issues by isolating the factors
- Must be able to read and understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript & PHP to identify the scope of changes that need testing
- Must be able to understand MySQL tables and phpMyAdmin
- Understanding of basic browser console errors
- Must be able to write clear bug reports with steps on how to reproduce
- Must be sensitive to good UI design so that display issues can be identified
