Job Description
Looking for a junior front-end developer to join our growing team. You’ll be working on exciting web and app projects, for a variety of international clients. Your focus will be mainly on front- end, meaning adapting designs to webpage layout using HTML, JS and CSS. You’ll also work with various animation techniques as more and more project require this.
Key responsibilities
- Create responsive layouts that work beautifully across resolutions
- Fix layout issues for the multitude of sites we have under maintenance
- Work closely together with our senior frontend developer and project manager
- periodically work on backend tasks mainly using PHP
Minimum Qualifications
- Computer science / IT degree (also welcome self-thought or career-switchers)
- Open to FRESH GRADS, but prefer 1-2 years of work experience
- Self motivated and ability to work in a mostly silent / heads-down environment. Communication mostly occurs via digital means
- Solid front-end web development skills — knowledge of modern techniques; e.g. gulp, bower, SCSS and experience with Twitter Bootstrap.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with WordPress and JS frameworks (such as react / angular) a plus
- A good eye for design
