Job Description

The Facilities Team Lead supports the facilities manager in providing proactive maintenance and responsive service for repairs and projects for all co-op facilities. Also, is responsible for making sure that buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate all Facilities activities, work direction, and support systems (permits, gate passes, etc)
  • Supervise and train Facilities Team (FAs and custodians)
  • Supervise or monitor scheduled repair and maintenance works
  • Support the Head of Ops in managing the PB Health & Safety Program
  • Assist the Head of Ops in all aspects of project implementation as needed
  • Manage facilities-related procurement
  • Represent the Facilities Department in inter-departmental meetings to support and facilitate communication and action between teams
  • Work closely with admin team in delivering
  • Set up, maintain and organize the department's central files and documents (soft and hard copies)
  • Maintain and update facilities policies and processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • A degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Management or relevant technical course
  • At least two years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or related admin work
  • Above average English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Can communicate well across all levels, both internally and externally
  • Well versed in MS Office
  • Proactive and with a great sense of customer service
