Job Description

As an Administrative Officer at Lemi, you will be working alongside our Administrative Manager to provide financial and administrative support for the company while maintaining a strict level of confidentiality.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Lemi Executives’ calendars.
  • Planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
  • Making restaurant bookings, travel and accommodation arrangements, and the like.
  • Maintain an organized system of Lemi Executives’ personal and company files.
  • Manage Executives’ meeting minutes.
  • Recap all things discussed.
  • Identify action items.
  • Keep track of the Lemi Executives’ urgent and priority items in to-dos.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process.
  • Conserve Executives’ time by reading, researching, routing, and collecting relevant information.
  • Support the Administrative Manager and executives with projects and tasks that require financial and administrative expertise.
  • Review and implement financial policies.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Manage records and receipts of Lemi’s business accounts.
  • Update internal systems with financial data.
  • Track bank deposits and payments.
  • Reconcile transactions and prepare balance sheets.
  • Process accounts payables and accounts receivables.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Resolve financial disputes raised by colleagues and stakeholders of the business.
  • Be a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Finance Officer, or similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Experience using financial software such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Sharp time management skills.
  • Strong work ethics and integrity in managing confidential data aligned with international standards.
  • Having a professional license in accountancy is a huge advantage.
