Job Description
the responsibility of completing a thorough risk assessment, identifying vulnerabilities within a network, and creating firewalls, or configuring systems to enhance existing security features. Understanding complex technical issues and managing them within a fast-paced business environment. Identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5+ years’ experience
- Demonstrated familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, threats, and threat-prevention
- Experience with both active and passive threat deterrence technologies (firewalls, packet inspection, active and passive network and application scanning)
- Experience with 3rd-party solution providers such as Alert-Logic, Veracode, ESET, Sophos or similar
- Familiarity with AWS VPC architecture, configuration, and access controls in addition to generalized AWS knowledge
- Understanding of network technologies and protocols
- Understanding of encryption technologies in-flight and at rest
- Exposure to ethical hacking concepts (actual ethical hacking experience is not required)
