Job Description

Lemi is a global travel company that aims to renew its users’ excitement of the world around them. Our mobile application features lists of places made with friends, which helps users compile and organize recommendations and allow to get tips from the community. Since launching in April 2018, there have been thousands of recommendations shared by our users, our local experts, and our team in all continents including Antarctica!


As a Public Relations and Marketing Content Writer, your job is to produce articles for the Lemi app, as well as press releases, marketing copy, and other promotional materials that appeal to the Lemi audience and its partners. You are to deliver quality work that attracts customers and cultivates brand awareness.

All our writers begin in the team as Travel Researchers, a position where you will be trained to understand our company culture, values, quality standards, voice, and how to use our systems and operating software. You will also be introduced to the differences between writing and publishing for traditional printed media versus digital platforms.

  • Writing
    • Make sure your language packs a punch. We want to remain smart and dynamic to draw users and partners in with our language.
    • Expect to write several pieces per day. Learn to adapt your unique tone and style to our branding.
    • Keep an open mind and value the team’s feedback. Prepare for an environment that promotes constructive criticism to learn and grow as a writer.
    • We are goal-based, not time-based. While you will have your own targets, everything we do is for the benefit of the team and our collective milestones.
  • 2) Travel Research
    • Research is an integral part of our writing process. Along with insights from our online and local sources, your research will inform you the specifics of a place’s features and characteristics.
      • Integrate your research seamlessly for fully fleshed-out write-ups.
      • Learn to use our unique backend system to fill in information for easy reference by our community
      • Ensure quality is controlled and information is verified.
  • Interviews
    • Gather information about locals’ recommendations to help you with your articles.
    • Know how to ask the right questions to collect information from locals all over the world.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related courses
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Excellent interviewing skills
  • Professional or academic experience in writing and editing
  • An interest in exploring the world and trying local experiences
  • Work ethic and integrity aligned with international standards
