Business Intelligence Developer  

This position will mainly support the Data Governance vertical under the Risk & Governance team. This role also entails engaging with diverse cross-functional projects around report development for stakeholders across various domains such as Operations, Legal, and Product, among others. Moreover, this position will actively contribute to QA/testing initiatives associated with reporting, as well as quality metrics pertinent to Data Governance.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable BI solutions using tools such as Tableau
• Develop and maintain data models to support BI reporting and analysis requirements, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that communicate key metrics and KPIs to stakeholders.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of data shown and extracted into BI systems, ensuring consistency between source systems and reports.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, best practices, and organization regulations in reports development and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, data engineers, and data owners to understand requirements and deliver BI solutions that meet business needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence development or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying
• Strong understanding of data testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Relevant experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, own deliverables, and set priorities.
• Strong documentation skills to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.
• Prior experience and understanding with any data governance tools is very much preferred
