- Perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment.
- Evaluate, inspect, maintain, design, analyze, and improve various types of equipment, including mechanical equipment.
- Experience specializing in, but not limited to heavy equipment and vehicle fleet repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Heavy equipment maintenance, diagnostics and repair techniques sufficient to perform
- Installation, repair, and maintenance on light, medium, and heavy equipment.
- Heavy equipment repair tools and rebuilding equipment
- Detect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical defects sufficient to perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Direct work of other maintenance staff to ensure that equipment is operational and safety practices are followed by assigning repair and maintenance work; directing mechanics and semi-skilled workers in field repair and maintenance activities
- Keep repair records sufficient to log, track, and retrieve repair and maintenance histories on equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree and/or Professional License (Registered Mechanical Engineer)
- Preferably with one (1) year experience in the preventive and maintenance of heavy equipment vehicles and machineries
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
