- Maintain broker contracts for both outbound and inbound brokerage opportunities.
- Track duties and taxes payable and process payment on behalf or client.
- Coordinate transportation and storage of imported goods
- Monitors or trace the location of goods.
- Contract with cargo forwarders for destination services.
- Maintain relationships with customs brokers in different ports to speed up clearing freight/cargo
- Provide advice on transportation options, types of carriers, or shipping routes.
- Prepare papers for shippers to appeal duty charges.
- Prepare customs documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws to facilitate the import and export goods.
- Request essential import documentation, such as customs invoices, certificates of origin and cargo-control documents.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS in Customs Administration.
- Has basic knowledge with clerical work and office equipment.
- Persistent and keen to detail.
- Must be willing to do field work if required.
