Senior Solution Architect  

Senior Solution Architect will play a key role in defining the overall architecture of OVO as a leading player in the Fintech ecosystem. You’ll be working closely with other senior engineering leaders across the company to ensure OVO has the best-in-class architecture at various levels of the system, striving for streamlined, effective, robust and sustainable design. Your responsibilities and duties are:

• Provide guidance to ensure the overall architecture and solutions are very well designed for the long-term while also driving for a pragmatic approach to deliver results in phases that is aligned with business value.
• Drive architectural changes as necessary through design, review, execution, and deployment to ensure success and resiliency of owned solution scope.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers at different levels from various teams across the company.
• Understand, participate, and support the entire solution from ideation and visual design through the SDLC, lifecycle activities such as extending or updating a system, planning retirement of a system.
• Create technology feasibility models through research and Proofs of Concepts (POCs).

• You should be a software engineer ninja in your past life, preferably someone with hands-on experience or deep knowledge on broad areas from backend, frontend, infrastructure, storage, scalability and network infrastructure.
• Scalability, Reliability and Sustainability should be in your DNA at all times, but you also know exactly when to give up some of these.
• You should stay up to date with the latest technology, designs, patterns, tools and trends in the fast moving software world.
• Fintech experience related to banking, payment, payment devices, financial services, etc is a big plus.
• Excellent verbal & written communication + presentation skills is a must. Strong influencing skill is a big plus.
• Min 10 years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 3 years as a Solution or Software Architect.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent. MSCS or equivalent is preferred.
