Job Description
- Conducts regular room visits to in-patients with huge accounts and coordinates with patients’ relatives in making payment arrangements.
- Prepares and submits monthly aging and accounts receivable reports to Credit and Collection Head.
- Analyzes collection report to determine status of collection and outstanding balances to evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures. Modifies procedures if necessary.
- Coordinates with ICA Section regarding admitted patients especially for emergency and walk-in cases.
- Responsible for contacting discharged patients with delinquent accounts and sending three demand letters based on hospital policy.
- Ensures that utmost effort had been exhausted before referring delinquent accounts to our Corporate Lawyer.
- Sets aside one week day for collections. Visits the address given to follow up once the contact number could not be reached or is out of coverage.
- Coordinates with Accounting Department on the list of uncollectible accounts before changing status to bad debts.
- Exercises accounting control and confidentiality over every information processed.
- Performs any other functions that may be assigned by immediate superior.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4-year Business course.
