Job Description
The position is responsible for managing all activities related to the assigned customers and ensuring that customers’ and seafarers’ requirements are met and satisfied. It is also responsible for handling all communication with PIC regarding vessel requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute / Monitor the rotation planning in eCrew
- Receive black folder and debrief reporting offsigners
- Update team with the changes in the requirements
- Propose for position of a qualified candidate with no rotation plan from OSM pool (seafarer without line up or seafarer with recommendation for promotion), availability lists, or new recruit
- Submit requirement for new recruit to Recruitment Department
- Approve joining cash advance of departing seafarers and Return Bonus.
- Process emergency loan requested by seafarers
- Compute sea services for wage seniority of joiners
- Coordinate with Processing Department POEA enrolment of principal, vessel, change of vessel’s name and wage scale
- Update allotment details and self-USD
- Request monitor and flights of upcoming crew changes
- Discuss with the joining seafarer the items listed in the Pre-joining and Pre-departure Checklist
- Initiate clearance process and release documents to withdrawing seafarers upon completion of the clearance process
- Monitor crew performance evaluation and propose seafarer for promotions
- Coordinate with Crew Payroll / Accounting section regarding inquiries of crew onboard pertaining to their allotments and wages
- Ensure flight booking are in place and in most economical price.
- Update information of seafarer in Ecrew, including Sign On and off for all seafarer.
- Conduct PDOS for seafarers as per schedule.
- Update Advance Planning Tool in time.
- Perform other task as delegated by the Team Leader/Fleet Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 years of work experience in Crew Manning Services responsible for crew planning and deployment
- Preferably has an experience onboarding vessels
- Extensive knowledge of procedures and policies related to the crewing industry
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong negotiation skills
- Has an eye for details
