Job Description

The position is responsible for ensuring that all the transactions / disbursements of the company are properly classified and booked according to accounting principles. It ensures that government payables and reports are done on time and assists in the implementation of changes in procedure if needed.The position is responsible for ensuring that all the transactions / disbursements of the company are properly classified and booked according to accounting principles. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the implementation and control of accounting and treasury functions of the company
Ensure that government reportorial requirements are done and submitted on a timely manner
Ensure the prompt payment of dues
Approve check vouchers and release of checks
Prepare the daily cash report
Encode and post the daily foreign exchanges rates to Visma
Perform other duties as may be instructed by Group Controller / Accounting Head

Minimum Qualifications

Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in combined Treasury and Accounting
Graduate of Bachelors in Accountancy
Proficient in the use of Office Productivity Tools
Good communication skills – written and verbal
Excellent Analytical Skills
