Purchasing Associate  

Auro Chocolate is looking for a dynamic Purchasing Associate who will be in charge of canvassing and purchasing raw materials, other consumables, and services. They will ensure that supplies are available on time based on production’s demands and with approval of the management.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Authorities

• Canvassing

  • Sourcing and maintaining reliable suppliers of materials and services needed

  • Following up consistently with suppliers for faster turnaround of quotation and sample requests

  • Looking for most competitive pricing of items without sacrificing quality

• Purchasing

  • Preparing and sending approved PO to suppliers

  • Keeping track of scheduled deliveries

  • Keeping every purchase and transaction properly documented

  • Constantly updating departments of status of requested items

• Stock Monitoring

  • Ensuring that there are sufficient materials for day to day operations

  • Monitoring movement and use of raw materials and other consumables

  • Troubleshooting of unforeseen supply issues

• Others
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding material supply
  • May be assigned other tasks as necessary

Basic Relationship

• Report to the Managing Director
• Coordinate payables with Accounting
• Fulfill purchase requests from other departments

• Graduate of any four year course
• Preferably with Supply Chain Management and Purchasing experience, fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
• Highly organized
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
