Job Description
Oro Filipinas is looking for a dynamic HR Officer who will develop, implement and improve employee relations and HR policies, programs and practices. The HR Officer’s aim is to ensure that the HR policies and programs align with overall Company strategies while maintaining the right balance between employee welfare (people driven) and administrative efficiency (process driven).
The HR Officer is responsible for overseeing the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, career development and performance monitoring. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
- Develop and administer recruitment process to increase quality and quantity of recruits.
- Assess training needs of staff in consultation with managers.
- Plan skill and team building events.
- Design and implement different performance assessment tools and rewards and recognition program in line with overall company strategy.
- Implement quarterly and yearly performance review.
- Coordinate with Payroll Officer to monitor timekeeping and attendance, to ensure payroll and HRIS/201 files are up-to-date, accurate and comply with relevant regulations.
- Design, implement and manage salary grading and compensation programs.
- Advice on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation.
- Assist in preparation of the staff handbook.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in HR;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field;
- Proficient in cloud-based services (i.e. Google Drive, Gmail, etc.);
- Experience processing payroll and working with payroll processing systems;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Highly organized: able to maintain accurate and consistent documents/records;
- Strong written and verbal communication, effective organization, ability to work independently and collaboratively, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
- Must have knowledge in preparing government reports such as Philhealth, SSS, HDMF and TIN;
- Willing to be permanently stationed in Calamba, Laguna.
