Job Description
- Collaborates with product management and engineering define and implement innovative solutions.
- Executes all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conceptualizes original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Creates wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Presents and defends designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
- Conducts user research and evaluate user feedback.
- Establishes and promotes design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related.
- Should have at least 5 years of experience in the same position
- Solid experience in the following:
- Creating wireframes
- Storyboards
- User flows
- Process flows and site maps
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in the following design and wire-framing tools:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Others
- Proficiency the following programming languages:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Deep understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google’s material design.
- Excellent visual design skills.
- High sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Able to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
