Job Description
- Maintains cleanliness inside the company premises which include but not limited to:
- cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming of floors / carpets;
- stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors;
- cleaning of restrooms;
- cleaning of pantry;
- cleaning and polishing of windows, glass partitions, mirrors, furnitures and fixtures;
- gathering and empty trash bins and replacement of trash bags;
- dusting of furniture, walls, machines, and equipments;
- Monitors and unplug all electrical appliances.
- Move heavy furnitures, equipments, and supplies.
- Notify the department concerning the need for minor or major repairs.
- Request supplies and equipment/s needed for cleaning and maintenance.
- Assist the departments in the setting up of tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding for office events and meetings as necessary.
- Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
- Water plants inside the department head and executive rooms and ensures that plants are trimmed once in a while.
- Performs other duties relevant to the job as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Background
- At least High School graduate or Vocational Diploma/TESDA Certificate.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year janitorial experience in job-related functions.
- Skills Required:
- Knowledge of janitorial cleaning equipment e.g., vacuum, floor polisher, etc.
- Knowledge of mixing cleaning solutions for janitorial and housekeeping purposes.
- Personality Traits:
- With pleasant and sharp disposition, flexible, organized, systematic and good judgment
