Head of Creative Services  

BASIC FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY)

The Head of Creative Services is the lead coordinator and contributor on assigned projects and provide strategic and tactical expertise to the projects and the Creatives team. He/she is the key-liaison and relationship manager with internal and external clients to understand and prioritize their project requirements. Uses expertise and leadership skills to direct staff, resolve project issues and ensure project goals and requirements are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for internal or external day-to-day management and implementation of client projects.
• Acts as the primary contact with the client. Cultivate strong client relationships that result in repeat business
• Oversees the timely flow of multiple projects in the department's work queue from conceptualization through completion.
• Delegates tasks and assignments to creative and production group within the department based on service delivery needs.
• Ensures that resources assigned to the project have all the tools and information needed to perform their project task.
• Assists everyone within the department on their day-to-day load.
• Monitors the quality assurance across all facets of a project
• Assists in the development and delivery of client presentations, concept reviews and other meetings.
• Monitors issues within projects and assists in resolving project conflict.
• Facilitates project team meetings, manages agendas and meeting recaps to ensure all project tasks and goals are being accomplished as expected.
• Anticipates and resolves potential problems/issues, and know when to notify the Advertising Manager.
• Monitors departmental output and provides weekly updates to the division head.
• Serves as primary liaison to the division head regarding all team projects.
• Monitors inventory of departmental office supplies, materials, etc.
• Performs other related tasks and functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Educational Background

• 4-year degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other related fields.

Years of Related Experience

• A minimum of 3 - 5 years project management experience, preferably in Advertising agency.

Technical Competencies
