Job Description
- Manage databases used by business applications
- Maintain database to have good availability
- Maintain data replication between databases
- Maintain user access and role to database
- Do performance tuning on query and database level
- Setup/upgrade/backup/restore database as needed
- Review and provide recommendation for database architecture and data architecture in broader sense
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
- 3+ years of professional experience administering Oracle Databases & PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Oracle & PostgreSQL database High availability design and documentation.
- Experience using Oracle Data Guard / Fast Start Failover
- Knowledge of database backup procedures and recovery systems.
- Complete SQL and other shell scripting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to visualize algorithmic structures.
