Web Designer  

Summary Description: The Web Designer will work with the marketing and creative team to develop and maintain the concept, design and execution of all visual, marketing, product, and eCommerce elements of company’s responsive websites and other digital initiatives as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept, update, and manage eCommerce website design, microsites, email campaign assets, social media and affiliate assets, video and animation, and other interactive marketing and eCommerce initiatives as required.
• Design high-end, clean, functional interactive web and digital creative elements to drive overall brand and marketing campaign objectives and ensure efficient and visually compelling customer experience that results in high conversion and sales.
• Design and update new web pages and sections as required.
• Conceptualize, design and optimize marketing websites, emails, landing pages and forms.
• PSD to HTML Slices and prepares images for web use in a responsive website design environment.
• Experience with “mobile first” design
• Experience with UX and UI principles and best practices related to digital design.
• Fix broken links, errors, and other daily problems as they occur, and update text, images, and links on a regular schedule.
• Work cross-departmentally to determine key campaign assets for use on website, social media, mobile apps and icons.
• Update, maintain and enforce all digital style and brand guideline best practices.

• Bachelor's degree, in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field of study, with an emphasis on web and interactive design
• 3 – 5 years of design experience in a digital or retail environment desired
• Thorough knowledge of visual design principles, responsive web design, interactive design, graphic design, layout, typography, color, icon development, corporate identity and branding
• Experience developing visual treatments that work across channels (Web, email, banners, print) that drive user action and conversion
• Proficient in Responsive Web Design, HTML5, CSS3, Adobe Creative Suite, jQuery, Javascript, Bootstrap Foundation and basic understanding of PHP
• Understanding of core User Experience Design principles and best practices that create highly converting website results
• Wordpress/Magento specific site building and theming
• Experience Magento and Wordpress content management systems is essential
• Familiar with cross-platform/browser issues, graphic file formats for web, and image optimization.
• Creative individual with an eye for detail
• Ability to manage multiple design projects on tight deadlines and accustomed to fast-paced production within an efficient workflow environment
