Job Description
- Maintaining customer database by inputting customer profile and updates; preparing and distributing monthly reports
- Preparing sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials
- Track sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses; forwarding for reimbursement
- Help develop and implement strategic sales plans
- Facilitate client requirements meetings – both in-person and/or remotely using current online presentation applications
- Report weekly sales forecasts
- Develop market analysis to identify customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
- Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends
- Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate
- Develop and manage client & agency relationships
- Manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner
- Assist with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns
- Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations
- Report directly to the Marketing and Customer Acquisitions Manager in providing technical functions in key marketing-related areas and campaigns
Minimum Qualifications
- Past industry-related or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent social skills
- Demonstrated experience working in sales or a marketing team environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Above average computer skills with experience in Pages, Numbers, Keynote or MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least one-year experience in sales, marketing, and/or business
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a customer relationship management (CRM) program
- Conducting keyword research using dedicated software, and generating new keyword ideas.
- Analyzing website and social media pages, then making recommendations for improvement.
- Monitoring website traffic, search results, and developing strategies.
- Overseeing content creation and offering suggestions.
- Updating outdated content.
- Optimizing pages for desktop, tablet, and mobile use.
- Developing link-building strategies.
- Managing paid search campaigns.
- Keeping up to date with new trends and best SEO practices.
- Evaluate important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience
- Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.
- Help oversee all aspects of our digital marketing department including our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
- Willing to learn about Marketing for Start Ups
- Can speak and write in conversational English (as opposed to formal & academic)
