Marketing Officer


Job Description

  • Maintaining customer database by inputting customer profile and updates; preparing and distributing monthly reports
  • Preparing sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials
  • Track sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses; forwarding for reimbursement
  • Help develop and implement strategic sales plans
  • Facilitate client requirements meetings – both in-person and/or remotely using current online presentation applications
  • Report weekly sales forecasts
  • Develop market analysis to identify customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
  • Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends
  • Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate
  • Develop and manage client & agency relationships
  • Manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations
  • Report directly to the Marketing and Customer Acquisitions Manager in providing technical functions in key marketing-related areas and campaigns

Minimum Qualifications

  • Past industry-related or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent social skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in sales or a marketing team environment
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Above average computer skills with experience in Pages, Numbers, Keynote or MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least one-year experience in sales, marketing, and/or business
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a customer relationship management (CRM) program
  • Willing to learn about Marketing for Start Ups
  • Can speak and write in conversational English (as opposed to formal & academic)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented
