Job Description
Financials and Strategies:
- Financial modelling, financial forecasting, scenario planning, strategic planning
Data Analysis and Research:
- Performance dashboard designing and making
- Identification of KPIs of performance metrics
- Analyzing operational and financial performance
Data analytics:
- Harnessing strategic and tactical recommendations
- Spotting new opportunities from the analyses of internal data
- Spotting of new trends in the market (forward and backward linkages)
- Study of new business models (local and international)
- Other ad hoc research
Management Compliance Reports
- Drafting of performance reports for management perusal
Minimum Qualifications
Background:
- Preferably with a master’s degree or at the minimum, an undergraduate of Accountancy, Finance, Business Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or any Business Course with Business, Financial and Business Statistics background
- Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in any industry but with the following function: Financial Analyst, Corporate Financial Planning, Corporate Planning, Business Development (financials and conceptualization), Statistics
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in financial modelling
- Advanced excel skills/google sheets and competent in using other Microsoft tools
- Has a good eye for trendspotting and performance metrics
- Preferably has knowledge in advanced stat tools like Python, SAS and R and other data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
- Has the capability to translate data into actionable strategic insights
- Has experience in market research and survey analysis
Soft Skills:
- Can work with minor supervision
- Resourceful and creative (eg. identifying/finding proxy data for information that are not readily available)
- Has endurance and stamina to work long hours
- Has good communications and data storytelling skills
- Creative and street smart
- Can quickly adapt to direction changes
