The Material Planner/Buyer is mainly responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating purchasing, warehousing, and distribution of materials necessary to run the operations and distribution of the assigned products
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Take overall responsibility for supply of the assigned items and suppliers.
- Handle inventory planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment.
- Set inventory levels of assigned items.
- Coordinate with suppliers on the replenishment, plan PL (Packing List), and shipment.
- Participate in Physical Inventory Count.
- Understand Capacity Planning and warehouse capacity utilization.
- Help and assist on PI confirmation.
- Assist in dealing with Brokers for all importation requirements.
- Assist in ensuring proper controls are in place for inventory, including regular counts and the annual count.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Procurement.
- At least 3 years spent in leading the department and managing a team.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Preferably an Industrial Engineer.
