Job Description
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of the content that is published
- Resolve the issues of the subordinates by providing alternative solutions to ensure smooth flow of work
- Adjust and distribute the workload
- Make sure that the content published is completely original
- Participate in the editorial meetings, conferences, and training
- Maintain and generate reports with respect to the performance, evaluation, and progress of the publication
- Achieve the objectives set by the organization
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor/College Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or Media-related course
- 2 to 4 years of work experience in any news related such as in GMA, ABS-CBN, TV5, Rappler, CNN or related
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years as an editor/reporter team management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as able to work independently
- Should have passion to excel and be creative
- Should have an ability to work under pressure and work in tight deadlines ensuring timely and quality execution of the work assigned
- Good understanding of the publishing procedures and should keep himself updated with current developments in the media
- Proficiency in the English language is a must
