Job Description
- Troubleshoots and resolves the following:
- Issues pertaining to network downtime.
- IP phone and headset failures.
- Escalates issues to the applicable service providers and/or 3rd party vendors.
- Sets-up network related to the workstation.
- Sets-up the f teleconference, phone or the internet for interim services (ex. Conference calls, meetings, etc.).
- Installs and maintains Cisco ASA and Avaya equipment.
- Configures voice, data, and leased line.
- Proactively monitors network infrastructure (data/voice, Internet, leased line).
- Documents daily outages and escalate to service providers.
- Monitors network bandwidth and usage.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in information technology, Computer Science, ECE, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education,
- Demonstrated hands on experience in the deployment and troubleshooting of various LAN technologies (VLAN, VTP, Trunk, EtherChannel, STP, HSRP, VSS, VPC), routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and IP multicast (IGMP, PIM), preferably in an Enterprise Environment
- Experience and/or knowledge in performing and analyzing network packet captures using packet analyzers such as Wireshark, Nagios, etc.
- At least 3-5 years hands on experience providing network support including experience in network infrastructure, devices, routing and switching, configurations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Required skill(s): Cisco Routers, LAN, MS Exchange, WAN
- Strongs hands on experience in Routing and Switching
- Management of Network Infrastructure and Data Center
- CCNA / CCNP Certified will be of high preference and of great advantage
- Willing to undergo on a long-term project based employment of 1 year which is renewable and can be absorbed depending on performance or for regular position depending on assessment
- Willing to travel/ be assigned in Taguig
- Preferably who can start ASAP
