System Verification Engineer

Nokia Networks MN P Customer Support Automation Engine Development is a multi-site R&D organization providing platform and application software for Nokia AVA – innovative service automation solution. Team is involved in web development, big data & analytics, cloud technologies and generally the use of automation platforms in B2B service delivery and the whole subject of process digitization (from process need, through software and user experience, to new business models). You will be working in Automation Engine Development as a System Verification Engineer.

Main Responsibility Area

Your overall responsibility is ensuring quality of specified entities (e.g. features); planning, designing, and executing items in own area; coordinating activities within own responsibility area; has developed specialist knowledge in one area; coaching other team members in solving basic engineering problems; solving complex engineering problems of own technology area; and typically participating in reviews of own or neighboring projects.

This requires close cooperation with other R&D teams as well as regular reporting to Fault Managers, Project and Program Managers.

You will be a member of scrum team consisting of programmers, testers and DevOps engineers, developing cloud based automation solutions. You will have an opportunity to constantly develop your skills in IT and Telecommunications domains. You will work in a flexible, collaborative and friendly agile environment with a wide range of modern technologies. You will work in a Serviceability & Automation unit in Manila, cooperating with other global teams in other countries.

Job Description

· Performing a leading role in planning, implementing, and execution of one or more technical activities within the project/team

· Responsibility may include setting of priorities and ensures completion of tasks within team

· Responsibility may include allocation of tasks and resources within own team

· Tests planning, implementation, automation, execution, and reporting of existing and new product features

· Researching technologies and consequently defining testing steps for assuring quality in terms of security, stability, performance and user experience for tools and products as required by GS.

· Supporting involved feature teams in project execution

· Coaching and leading other teams in solving testing problems

· Analyzing and solving complex testing problems

· Supporting creation and reviewing requirements, especially for test tools

· Working outside of own test area regarding technical issues

· Cooperation with project managers in planning activities

· Automating test cases and help in creating a Continuous Integration environment

Position Requirements

· Recommended 4-6 years of experience with software testing and integration

· Telecommunication and IP experience or knowledge

· Experience in ATTD (Acceptance Test Driven Development)

· Experience and knowledge in Smoke and Regression Testing

· Experience in application programming

o Immediate Python

o Linux, BASH, Jenkins Scripting

o Java, Javascript is a plus

· Experience in test automation

o JIRA/Zephyr for JIRA

o Python

o Robot Framework

o Selenium / Selenium Grid

· Experience in Security Testing (e.g. Samurai) and Performance Testing (e.g. Locust.io, Jmeter) is a plus

· Experience in Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, GIT, Crucible/Fisheye) is a plus
