Minimum Qualifications:
Graduated from college
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Behavioral Sciences or related field;
  • At least two to three years of relevant HR experience - preferably focusing on Employee and Labor Relations and Benefits Administration;
  • Broad understanding of Philippine Employment/Labor Law;
  • Interest, willingness, and ability to manage high level local strategic direction as well as lower level administrative details;
  • Excellent English communication skills, both in written and oral forms;
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing work time efficiently;
  • High-energy, driven, articulate, and has a friendly personality, with a customer-service mindset;
  • Ability to create and sustain productive relationships with external and internal clients;
Job Description

We are looking for an up and coming HR professional with up to three years of experience in HR Administration across all HR functions, and who is now ready for a managerial role in a startup.

The HR Manager provides professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective of adding value to the business. The HR Manager designs, implements, and monitors a variety of human resource programs. Additionally, he/she anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends; including recruitment, employee relations, training, employment, and benefits in partnership with business unit management.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the roll-out of company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, talent management, organizational change, process improvement, etc.).
  • Partners with managers to prepare for and complete performance reviews and bonus and merit increase recommendations in alignment with internal guidelines and policies.
  • Oversee all aspects of employment law and employee relations, including disciplinary procedures, investigations, and terminations to ensure they comply with local labor law.
  • Supports special projects as necessary.
  • Provides guidance to employees on queries related to the benefits programs.
  • Administers internal and statutory benefits processing (i.e.: SSS, PhilHealth) which include processing of employee application for benefits and updates information, etc.
  • Broker coordination for timely enrollment, amendment of HMO, and insurance coverage for all employees.
  • Resolution of employee requests, queries, and complaints while providing a high level of service.
