Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, workflow, and deliverables
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 7 years of software development experience in PHP, Python, javascript, CSS, HTML
- Experience working with web application development, mobile application development, machine learning, information retrieval, developing large software systems, and security software development
- Proficient communication and written skills in English
- Writes highly reliable and reusable application code
- Strong knowledge on Object Oriented Programming or MVC design pattern and frameworks (Laravel is a big advantage)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience with Continuous Integration, TDD, Agile and other delivery practices
Preferred qualifications
- 5 years of software development experience, preferably in a lead position
Extensive experience with Java, C#, XML, HTML, CSS, PHP and data/web scraping - Interest and ability to learn other coding languages and practices
