Job Description
- Assemble all raw audio video materials ingested onto the media base with guidance from a raw or edited script provided by the producer/ writer.
- Determines which materials from the raw tape are usable.
- Must be able to tweak edit when necessary that will ensure coherent storytelling.
- Create a visual representation of the script provided.
- Does all the editing needs of newscasts: News items, Headlines, Teasers, OBB/CBB, MTV and Documentaries.
- Suggests and implements production aids to enhance news clips and footage assigned to him.
- Coordinates with and acquires from Media Management Section regarding footage and materials required in the scripts assigned to him.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro.
- Knowledge in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is an advantage.
- Graduate of Mass Communication/ Multimedia Arts and other related courses,
- At least 3 years in Broadcast / television production
- Must work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Keen attention to detail
