Job Description
- Create all baked good, pastries, confections and other desserts as the head of the pastry team
- Design the dessert and develop new recipes
- Organize and set-up the pastry kitchen as effectively as possible, monitor food and operating costs, and manage and reduce wastage
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Culinary Arts or HRM
- At least 3 years experience as Pastry Chef in a bakeshop company
- Strong knowledge with varied pastries, desserts products and techniques
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills

NIC's started as a commissary established by Maggie and Rina Go in 2001. Nicol is the name of Rina's first daughter after which the company was named. Specialties such as classic desserts borne out of homemade, family tested recipes gave them the confidence to offer their products. The company primarily Desserts and Breads to coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, hospitals and food chains at wholesale prices. Specific food items such as pastas and rice meals were also developed to suit client's need.
