Job Description
- Teach and plan a full curriculum/syllabus in web development, five days a week in- person class, for 4 weeks (20 hours of teaching time per week) OR teach two 3-hour part time classes per week for 10 weeks. Employment term will be a 4-6 month contract.
- Inspire students through the challenges of learning social media and digital marketing and provide 1-on-1 office hours, and workshops outside of class time.
- Work closely with provided local facilitators/assistants to provide students with meaningful and prompt feedback on their progress.
- Work alongside the NXTLVL team to best meet the needs and learning styles of NXTLVL students.
- Guide and mentor students through development of an impressive final project that will showcase their abilities to hiring managers and corporations.
- Facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community both inside and outside of the classroom.
Minimum Qualifications
- You are eager to educate, motivate the minds, and skill sets of a new generation of digital marketers.
- You have the drive to help Filipinos become leaders in tech and support the country’s start-up ecosystem by making it possible for people to learn, gain, and apply high- value technology skills.
- You are the type of person who is approachable that colleagues and students can come to when they are trying to solve something or require assistance.
- You have at least 2+ years of professional industry experience with digital marketing, through social media outlets, preferably in an internationally recognized company.
- You have fluency in the following: Google Analytics, Google AdWords, current social media outlets, paid social media advertising, customer segmentation targeting and tracking, community management, e-mail marketing and branding strategy.
- You have previous teaching experience in marketing/digital marketing acquired through course instruction, team training, tutoring, private lessons etc.
