Job Description
- Ensure that the requirements of the Quality System are adhered to, that procedures are followed and that the required records are maintained
- Ensure that the requirements detailed in the HACCP Plan are adhered to, that the critical control points are monitored and that the required records are maintained
- Ensure that food safety and EHS (environment, health and safety) policies are actively practiced and adhered to
- Conduct routine preventive inspection
- Assist safety officer in conducting investigation on any near miss or accident, fill-up accident and investigation report form, implement and monitor corrective action (s)on the facility
- Ensure that the work environment is maintained in a clean, hygienic and functional condition
- Assist in on-the-job training to the level of his/her competence
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks (as applicable) and operational status update and record status of building, equipment and leasehold improvements
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of company equipment and machinery and liaises with 3rd party providers on the repair or replacement of equipment if necessary
- Ensure that all equipment are maintained in a clean and functioning state
- Ensure that company material and intellectual property is securely kept at all times and that company security and confidentiality agreements are adhered
- Prepare the Monthly Maintenance Report and file it for record keeping purpose
- Recommend procedural revisions relating to the Operations Department
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Licensed Electrical Engineer
- With a minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Facilities & Building or Maintenance Supervisor
- Experience in food manufacturing set-up is an advantage but not required
- With advanced knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heating systems
- With knowledge on electromechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance including scheduling and implementation
- Knowledgeable in Pneumatic Systems and has the ability to read system schematics and blueprints
- With Project Management experience
- Knowledgeable in Autocad and SketchUp softwares
