Junior Accountant | Commercial Officer  

Purchasing:

• Coordinate with project manager-in-charge and/or with suppliers to get all documentations for opening new vendor accounts to be able to issue Purchase Order (PO) and payment
• Obtain and verify all required paper works for requests for PO
• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers/subcontractors to negotiate for agreed terms and prepare PO considering all taxes (quotation will be coming from requestor or project manager in charge, with the cost comparison)
• Monitor to ensure that all requests for PO
• Maintain records of pricing and other important data of suppliers/subcontractors
• Maintain relationships with key partners such as suppliers and subcontractors
• Coordinate with Legal to ensure contracts are in place for purchases of goods and services, if required
• Ensure that contractual requirements on insurances are in placed for projects and shipments

Finance and Accounting:

• Process request for payment of billings/Statement of Account/ invoices from suppliers/ subcontractors to be submitted to Finance and ensure that Creditable Withholding Tax Certificates are provided to vendors, if applicable
• Ensure that payments are made on time
• Review expense liquidation and reimbursement reports and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ensure that reimbursements to employees are process on time
• Monitors cash advances of employees and follow up liquidation
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports and other special reports as required
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
• Assist in providing documentation to complete audits 9. Other general accounting duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Ability to multi-task, work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented
• Able to maintain confidentiality
