Job Description
- Prepares drafts contracts/ agreements and other legal documents involving the company and its affiliates
- Review legal documents required for projects and within the company group.
- Monitor and safe keeps copies of all contracts and or agreement and ensure confidentiality of these documents
- Assist in attending to legal issues and gives feedback to Corporate Secretary and or Legal Counsel
- Ensuring compliance to regulations set by all government agencies
- Ensure that special projects given are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide legal support for ad hoc tasks which may be required by client from time to time.
- Conduct research on new business and legal aspects
- Collate data gathered from research for analysis and verification and for inclusion on reports
- Analyze data and information to find ways to improve and develop existing business processes
- Identify and understand problems through forecasting, gap analysis, quantitative reporting, research, and statistical analysis
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Political Science or similar area of expertise
- Have had over two (2) years of exposure to as legal officer
- Software competency: MS Office Programs
