Job Description
- Mainly responsible for the smooth running of computer systems, system tools, and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them;
- Setup/install and configure computer software/hardware and applications;
- Monitor/maintain computer systems and physical network;
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults, replace parts as required;
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault;
- Support the roll-out of new applications and updates;
- Respond within agreed time limits to support requests;
- Work continously on a task until completion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience within the enterprise IT sector;
- Atleast 1-year experience in support and maintenance of windows-based systems and applications;
- Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a passion for problem solving and investigation;
- Commitment to providing the best experience possible for employees;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- With an in-depth understanding of the software and equipment employees employees are using (computer system, telephone system, MS Office applications, etc.)
- Technical knowlegde and actual hands-on experience with the Linux storage and file system is a plus;
- Experience in software programming is a plus.
