- Write functional and design specifications
- Write original source codes and revise existing software
- Design and implements software solutions
- Perform code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, and other relevant testing
- Prepare software documents according to specific guidelines
- Troubleshooting
- Estimate project scope and adheres to established guidelines and metrics for quality data
- Mentor other software engineers and acts as senior member when designated
- Keep pace with related emerging technology and trends, and introduce new tools and techniques for software development
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree graduate (preferably BSCS/ CompE/ IT/ Electronics Engineering)
- At least 3-5 years experience in Software Development (Design, Coding, Testing)
- With at least 3 years of experience using C, C++, or Java with industrial products
- Experience with revision control and automated build systems
- Team player and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-driven, achievement-oriented, and has the ability to work on multiple development projects concurrently
- Must possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willing to travel for a business trip (domestic and occasional international travel)
- The following are Optional Skills/Experience (Desired Qualifications):
- Experience writing software for windows using C++/C#
- Experience programming various communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet
- Experience with development test tools (e.g. C++ Test Tool, Jenkins Integration Test Tool)
- Knowledge in multi-threaded programming implemented in Java, C and C++ under Linux/ Unix platform
- Knowledge in the Japanese Language
