Job Description
- Guide team development efforts towards successful project
- Provide technical, business and functional leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
- Manage customer relationships and coordinate/collaborate with customer project leader
- Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and other team members to plan, design, develop, test and maintain a system
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, estimates and work plans
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the project status and operation/maintenance of software
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
- Analyze and optimize resource allocation and utilization during project engagements
- Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members, customers and other affected parties
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
- Generate business proposals to the client and engage in pre-sales presentations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Must possess accredited project management certification
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field or project management position is required for this position
- Must have good working knowledge and experience in using the following technologies: VB.Net, ASP.NET or C#, JAVA
- Must possess a good working knowledge in relational database management system concepts, technologies and methods
- A good understanding in object-oriented programming/design and exposure to full SDLC (and Agile) methodology is an advantage
- Familiar with project management methodologies
- Ability to take proactive steps in managing problems
- Strong knowledge of banking and remittance systems is preferred
