Job Description

Technical competencies

  • Develops Participant’s Manuals, Facilitator’s Guide and Evaluation Plan and other training/learning materials
  • Develops learning objectives (with performance, conditions, and criteria) using the SMART format
  • Prepares Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for a specific curricular/learning and developmental area
  • Uses technology of participation to engage participants
  • Develops a communication plan for the roll-out of engagement programs
  • Displays presentation and floor skills in the conduct of trainings
  • Identifies resource requirements to ensure proper implementation of priority areas
  • Evaluates and analyze L&D implementation to come up with recommendations for succeeding plans
  • Analyzes performance evaluation results to come up with recommendations for a rewards and recognitions program that will spur enhanced performance
  • Conceptualizes employee engagement program mechanisms and collaterals to make it relevant to its target audience
  • Develops policies or enhances procedures on rewards and recognition.
  • Facilitates conduct of the awards rites and prepares post-activity report. Conceptualizes program collaterals in collaboration with graphic designers or suppliers.
  • Uses a computer and is familiar with operating basic systems such as Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, multimedia presentations, and Internet. Integrates audio, video and animation in PowerPoint presentations

  • Maintains professional working relationships with relevant institutions that could help in the achievement of NPF L&D objectives

Communication skills

  • Promotes a culture of active listening within the organization
  • Is able to frame complex ideas/information in such a way as to be better understood by its intended audience
  • Is able to explain the relevance of L&D and employee engagement initiatives to all levels of the organization
  • Is able to articulate the values of Nayong Pilipino to the employees

Teamwork

  • Works with all levels of the organization to ensure open communication of ideas. Ensures that employees feel that their suggestions/grievances are properly addressed
  • Works with various departments to ensure that all relevant learning needs are captured and properly addressed

Results-orientation

  • Ensures that programs (L&D and Employee Engagement) are implemented in the agreed-upon timeframe
  • Ensures that all learning initiatives conducted are aligned to the L&D plan and address organizational needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • A graduate of a bachelor's degree, Master'sl Degree in Psychology, Sociology or other social sciences preferred but not required
  • 3-years of supervisorial work or 7 years total work experience
  • Has attended 16 hours of relevant training
  • Civil service (professional) second level eligibility
