Job Description

Tasks:

  • Develops program/project concepts and frameworks that will address or respond to issues and concerns based on internal reports, market trends, and strategic direction
  • Monitors and reviews the performance of operating units in terms of targets set and accomplishments
  • Collaborates, networks, and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducts periodic study of current tools/trends in the planning and management of government programs and projects;
  • Reviews and analyzes NPF operations to determine relevance, value, and consistency to the over-all thrust and mandate of the foundation
  • Implements programs/projects based on strategic plans

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

Technical competencies

  • Develops and recommends policy framework based on analysis of emerging trends
  • Institutes a process/system for monitoring and tracking progress against standards
  • Recommends areas of focus and enhancements in the work plans/ programs
  • Prepares related database of information
  • Recognizes underlying issues or problems based on trends, associations and cause-effect relationships between datasets
  • Uses a computer and is familiar with operating basic systems such as Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, multimedia presentations and the internet
  • Determines appropriate resources (material, human and time) necessary to complete plans and projects

  • Provides immediate feedback reports and written communication that need to be revised and gives specific details on revisions needed.
  • Develops and uses systems to organize and track progress of work

  • Understands ideas and concerns of co-employees and uses effective verbal and non-verbal communication to respond to their needs and concerns
  • Creates and delivers fact-based presentations to senior managers/board members of the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
  • 2-years relevant experience
  • 8-hours relevant training
