Job Description
- Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's operational and strategic risk.
- Develops Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework (ISO 31000).
- Ensures the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization.
- Establishes the Enterprise Risk Management architecture for the company.
- Oversees/monitors all operational risk management activities of the organization.
- Monitors and analyzes risks within the company's business units and reports on these risks to Management or provides key inputs into the company's enterprise risk or other committee that oversees the enterprise risk management process and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conducts regular internal control risk assessments through the use of systematic and disciplined approach in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of Risk Management, Control, and Governance process in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (ISPPIA).
- Facilitate remediation of control deficiencies based on observations and business self-testing
- Responsible for the coordination on the investigation of fraud related cases referred by management, clients, and business partners.
- Responsible in developing controls that would mitigate the company’s exposures to fraud both internal and external.
- Coordinates with the BCP Director of Globe in implementing the Enterprise wide Business Continuity Management System in accordance with the standards of ISO 22301.
- Acts as the overall SPOC for all audit engagements, conducted by both internal and external parties.
- And all other function and responsibilities required to deliver the work needed to be done
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any Finance or Business related courses
- Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures in bank, lending, and risk
- With background in lending systems, operations, compliance, analytics and credit scoring
- At least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Must be experienced in analyzing and understanding portfolio performance as the main basis for improvements and enhancements in credit risk policies
