Job Description

Duties and Responsiblities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing relevant Programs, Strategies and Initiatives that drive strong Business partner relationship resulting to mutually beneficial partnerships for all stakeholders.
  • Acts as the SPOC of Mynt engaging Mayors, Local Government Unit (LGU) leaders, GOCCs, Government Agency Heads/GMs, International/NGO, Microfinance Instiutions (MFI) and similar decision makers on behalf of Mynt to resolve, clarify and address complex or sensitive business issues relative to the partnership or agreements.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Develops and executes relevant processes and techniques for cultivating and maintaining strong business relationships with the accounts and key contacts that foster customer satisfaction by establishing regular account engagement/activities to gain a solid understanding of financial technology needs or business requirements so meaningful and longterm partnerships are created that results to swift contracting, implementation and driving Mobile Active Users (MAU)
  • Business Development
    • Leads in the development, formulation and execution of relevant account specific strategic offers via innovative partnership / ecosytem models or pitch packs by effectively utilizing company products, services (i.e. payments, disbursements, lending, online and offline payments etc.) or assets and appropriately link this to the needs/challenges of the accounts (LGUs/NGAs, GOCCs, MFIs, I/NGO etc.) and consequently help build and ensure long term business relationship.
    • Collaborates with the sources of internal (GCash, Fuse and GPay) and external information (from LGUs, International/NGO, MFIs, NGAs, GOCCs other stakeholders/partners) & data in order to come up with the most relevant partnership model with the accounts and interact as needed.
  • Account Management
    • Develop, formulate and execute specific account management strategies that preserve and foster the highest level of service attitude by establishing ways of working where partners/accounts are proactively updated on progress of endeavor including timely escalation of issues/challenges with stake holders that may affect implementation schedule
    • Oversees multiple projects and account engagements to ensure customer requirements and commitments are delivered as agreed.
  • After “Sales” Management
    • Develop & execute relevant strategies that maximize business potential of accounts by identifying and addressing business needs, resolving in a timely & effective manner operational issues especially after sales concerns, maximizing opportunities and conceptualizing relevant business-building programs to foster longterm business relationships with the accounts/partners.
    • Resolves business and customer issues, identifies process gaps and recommends courses of action that affect timely and efficient execution of partnership programs.
  • Monitoring & Activity Controls
    • Takes ownership and assumes responsibility to drive personal accountability for everyone in the working teams in the development, implementation, enforcement and outcome of established systems and standards for monitoring and controlling activities so that appropriate actions to positively influence results may be undertaken promptly while protecting the company's interests in various aspects of the group's business transactions and operations.
    • Measures business results and effectiveness of partnership programs and adjusts execution plans accordingly to ensure outcomes are mutually beneficial to stakeholders and business objectives are met at all times. Ensure implementation of results-based framework where key baseline numbers are established, regular monotoring vs. tarets and evaluation with feedback loop for improved program design and implementation.
  • Training & Personnel Development
    • Takes ownership in his/her own development to effectively execute defined job responsibilities and meets minimum expectations by identifying competency and performance gaps together with the IS as observed in the work place, recommending relevant training and coaching interventions, giving prompt and proper performance evaluation and maintaining a file for training documentation to ensure long-term career development and promoting an environment that encourages personnel development and growth.
    • Keeps updated with the latest techniques, technologies and trends in the industry to ensure business relationships and partnership models are relevant at all times.
    • Projects and maintains at all times a professional and highly competent image of Mynt and its capabilities
  • Administrative Requirements
    • Maintain and utilize prescribed systems and innovate/find alternatives to improve ways of working & perform effectively while ensuring that all required records, reports and other administrative assignments including those of stakeholders are updated, accomplished properly and submitted on time always.
    • Manages resources effectively & efficiently, and facilitates collaboration within the working team to ensure business objectives and customer commitments are delivered at all times.
  • Company Asset Management
    • Maintain, protect and fully utilize all company assets assigned to the incumbent.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements
A. Work Experience

public administration courses. I will need at least 5 yrs experience working with government, international organization or microfinance.

  • At least 3 years experience in business development/account management
  • At least 5 years experience working with government, international organization or microfinance.

  • Track record of success in business development sales (quarterly, annual goals) or similar role
  • Working across multiple enterprise divisions/business units to seal complex deals with strategic customers and partners
  • Working in a complex organization, navigating multiple stakeholders (government, microfinance instituions, its constituents and members etc.) to achieve results
  • Working in a fast paced, high-change environment
  • Working in a team environment

B. Level of Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree on Marketing, Business Administration, Pubic Administration and Management, Development Studies, Political Economy Microfinance, Leadership and Strategy, Communications or equivalent fields of study
  • Masteral Degree is a plus
