Job Description
- Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to fabrication and delivery schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.
- Reviews fabrication schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials .
- Tracking of material.
- Requisitions of material and establishes accurate delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.
- Examines material delivered to sites.
- Monitors all the in and out of Materials to be distributed to its designated sites.
- Coordinates with the Project Managers/Engineers about the materials requisitions.
- And other clerical and admin works as assigned from supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Engineering or Related Course.
- Must have atleast 1-2 years of experience as Material Controller/Material Coordinator
- Knowledge in Fabrication of Glass/Cladding is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Keen to details
- Extrovert and can work under pressure.
