Job Description

The Marketing Manager will be responsible in conceptualizing, planning, developing and implementation of marketing plans for Certified Calm stores and Traditional Channels. This position has a thorough understanding on the market trends and understanding of marketing cost and lead time. The position ensures that sales and profitability targets are achieved.

Responsibilities:

BRAND MANAGEMENT

  • Conceptualizes brand building/ marketing plans and programs for the store and ensures growth and profitability resulting to an increase in market share
  • Prepares forecast and monitors product movement on a periodic basis and recommends plan of action
  • Ensures brand directions are strictly implemented and monitors its results
  • Plans, oversees and monitors the store and brand’s advertising and promotional activities
  • Evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy and formulation to ensure timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Handles, monitors and plans social media posting by preparing social media calendar and have it approved by the Management
  • Communicates with the customers if there are any inquiries and concerns raised in any of the social media accounts
  • Prepares product launch plans, forecast, allocation and analyzes and recommends plan of action

PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

  • Conceptualizes promotional activities and below the line marketing efforts as tactical plans to achieve brand targets.
  • Recommends and participates actively in events (end-to-end) and activities of marketing to promote the store/brands
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of promo and marketing programs thru monitoring actual sales
  • Ensures promotions are communicated and implemented according to promotional guidelines.
  • Creates and updates marketing collateral, presentations, brochures to boost sales achievement

MARKET INTELLIGENCE

  • Keeps abreast of the trends in the industry through market research and competitive trade check
  • Prepares market study as basis for pricing and product development
  • Conducts marketing surveys on current and new products and recommends to the management
  • Identifies potential threats and opportunities in the market place and recommends plans of action
  • Conducts intensive marketing research to effectively promote the brands/store

MERCHANDISE MANAGEMENT

  • Monitors closely the availability of products and recommends orders as needed based on brand plans and target
  • Recommends whether the products are to be discontinued or to be retained based on sales reports and market trends.
  • Works closely with the operations and Management Team for promotional guidelines and merchandising display
  • Ensures visual merchandising display guidelines are implemented according to the brand standards and global directions (if any)

SALES MONITORING

  • Monitors sales achievement versus sales target of the departments
  • Evaluates attributes of the actual sales and recommends for possible solution or action plan
  • Assesses brand movement and recommends promotions or activity for the brands

TRAINING

  • Conducts brand and product training to the sales force to ensure the product features and benefits are well-communicated.
  • Complies brand training manual and updates as needed.

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • To develop distinct online presence by preparing and implementing social media calendar of CERTIFIED CALM, TOESOX, MANDUKA, and KLEAN KANTEENfor Facebook, Instagram and other platform of social media
  • To ensure all social media pages of the brands content is fresh, dynamic, accurate, accessible, consistent and up-to-date
  • Works with the marketing department to develop a digital content strategy that aligns with both the marketing and digital strategies
  • To prepare content plan on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Manage digital content, emphasizing editorial standards, quality and accuracy of information
  • To develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive search engine optimization and linking strategy
  • Analyze traffic and / or ranking reports on a weekly basis
  • Provides original photos on a weekly basis to be used in the social media posting and other marketing related activities.
  • Monitors and recommends strategies to increase numbers of likes and followers for all the social media of the company
  • Updates lookbook/tablet of Certified Calm BGC and Shangrila by uploading pictures of new arrivals and current stocks of apparel and other brands as instructed by the Client
  • Responds to follower’s messages such as but not limited to complains, feedbacks and inquiries
  • To produce analytical reports evaluating the effectiveness of the social media channels and make recommendations to improve every 15th and 30th of the month
  • Recommends highly engaging campaigns such as contest and online events aligned to the marketing programs of the company
  • Create templates to respond to customers messages such as but not limited to complaints, feedbacks and inquiries
  • Monitor and identify target demographics based on the growth and feedback in all social media channels
  • To submit weekly calendar for social media channels every Monday
  • Works closely with Marketing Group to create synergy between the Offline and Online store

ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Prepares periodic reports with corresponding plans of action
  • Prepares Monthly report for Marketing activities
  • REPORTS:
    • Monthly brand off-take report
    • Periodic promo analysis
    • Brand review (either Monthly or Quarterly- depending on the requirement)
    • Annual brand plans and forecast
    • Competitors review or comparative analysis
    • Post Event Evaluation Report

  • SEO, SEM, Facebook or Instagram and webstore (visits, likes, shares, etc.) weekly comparative report to be submitted every Monday at 9:00 am.
  • Competitive reports (Facebook or Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Snapchat and webstore) to be submitted every two weeks.
