Job Description
The National Sales Manager is primarily responsible for planning, analyzing, leading and controlling activities in the development and implementation of short and long term strategies and plans to achieve results consistent with Company objectives. The incumbent ensures that there is an efficient and effective supervision of all trade channel activities consistent with brand strategy. The NSM’s scope of responsibility includes trade promotion implementation, budget management, promotion development and evaluation, activities for high priority accounts, new product launches, business building, business reviews with customers, people management and development, systems and processes among others.
Key Result Areas:
1. Achievement of assigned Sales Metrics
2. Development of Sales Team strategic direction
3. Development of Business Plans per area
4. Deployment, measurement and control of assigned Business Building Funds
5. Training and Development of Sales Personnel
Minimum Qualifications
- College graduate; MBA is an advantage
- Field Sales Management in senior capacity (At least 5 years)
- Brand Management experience is an advantage
- Leadership, Creativity, Excellent Communication Skills (both oral and written), Business Sense, Entrepreneurship, Systematic, Strong people handling skills
