Job Description

MCPI is looking for a full-time social media manager (SMM) to join its growing team. New hires should be highly organized wordsmiths who will write on behalf of our clients on their social media pages (twitter, facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.).

Responsible for:

  • Organizing and putting together a highly effective monthly social media plan for various clients’ social media pages.
  • Writing effective copy for a lot of different styles, for websites, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Knowledge of writing for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is also needed.
  • Researching to have a strong understanding of what’s happening in the fast-changing world of social and digital media, what competitors are doing and what new measurement tools are being used.
  • Problem-Solving to figure out how to best communicate a company's message on different platforms.
  • Being friendly and approachable online will help.
  • Understanding computers, SEO, internet access and being tech savvy is necessary.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and reporting of social media analytics (impressions, reach, click-through rate, etc.) and modifying campaigns to increase user engagement
  • Recommending strategic social media advertisement boosts and monitoring ad spends accordingly.
