Job summary

Our client is seeking a .NET Development professional with at least five years’ professional industry experience for the job of .NET Developer, to be based in Makati City, Philippines.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Undertake requirement capture activities to elicit requirements that accurately reflect the need of end users
• Define a detailed list of scope of work to be done including required work hours and estimated dates on each project
• Create a detailed document containing technical specifications of the project taking into consideration Company and industry best practices that will be reviewed by Senior Developers
• Execute documented specifications document based on timeline
• Execute rigorous unit tests on each completed work considering test cases specified by the QA Team
• Debug and correct issues raised by the testing team with speed and quality.
• Provide documentation that allows other developers to have enough information for supporting the software and help come up with continuous improvements
• Ensure that all work adheres to company standards.
• Provide second and third line product support where the need dictates.
• Build relationships with all other areas of the business to assist the communication of concepts, ideas business and technical information.
• Maintain an accurate record of progress using company-tracking tools on a timely manner.
• Provide End User training where necessary.
• Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
• Assists internal teams/task forces as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems etc.)
• Knowledge of: MVC, ASP.NET, C# .NET, Web Service, Consumption, XML Data Manipulation, jQuery, jQuery UI, jQuery Ajax, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, T-SQL, Lambda Expressions, C#
• Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
• Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them.
• Prior exposure to gaming or gambling software is an advantage
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
• Consult with the Senior Software/Web Developers regarding professional skill development.
• Participate in development of long range planning for new projects and facilities.
• Experience and ability to teach or instruct co-workers.
• Providing advice, training and technical support for various projects.
• As new technologies emerge and impact our systems, expected to learn these technologies very quickly.
• Ability to learn new programming languages quickly.
• Assists and take guidance from other team members in designing programs and databases.
• Ability to write, edit, and debug computer programs to achieve desired output.
• Ability to work productively in a team.Knowledge of maintaining and debugging live software systems.
• Firm knowledge of standard development tools.
• Ability to determine whether hardware, operating systems software, application programs cause a particular problem, or network failures.
• Understanding of security and encryption.
