Job Description

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of Philippines’s fastest growing Fintech company focused on helping SMB’s with cash flow problems. Our respected client is seeking a business development professional for the job of Business Development Manager. The job is located in Makati City, Philippines.

Job summary

The Business Development Manager will build the company’s presence, to get partnerships, and to take ownership of launching the service in the local market.

Business Development Manager, you are expected of the following responsibilities

  • Conversion of qualified leads from multiple industry sectors into active trading accounts.
  • Educating business decision makers on the benefits of using the company’s services/product to fund working capital versus alternatives.
  • Getting clients set up and well versed with the company’s platform.
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of key business opportunities.
  • Driving new business generation through referrals and relationship building.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years successful track record on a business development track in your local market
  • Solid track record of building market from scratch by recruiting and retaining the best partners on the market
  • Engaging and inspiring, has a natural talent to get great people involved.
  • Flawless communication and presentation skills in English and the local language.
  • Have an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You’re full of ideas, and want to change the worldA list of showcases where your business development efforts made a significant impact on the business
  • Previous working experience with SME market segment
  • Understanding of SME short term financing and/or previous experience of working in FinTech.
