Payments Associate  

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting for an international payment solutions provider (PSP) providing debit card payment processing for all types of merchants, enabling them to successfully enter Asian markets through Payment Gateway partners. The company is one of the few Western companies with access to key markets, including the Philippines, China, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Job summary

Our client is seeking for an honest and attention to detail professional with at least 3 years’ professional experience for the job of Payment Associate, to be based in Makati City, Philippines.

Key job responsibilities will include:

• Use a variety of systems to process payments to and from our customers and merchants.
• Carry out simple reports and record-keeping using excel.Cross-check other associates’ work when required.
• Investigate customer issues relating to payments.
• Work with internal stakeholders to provide information on financial payments.
• Make suggestions on how to improve our processes and make them faster or more accurate.
• Ad-hoc duties, some including basic finance skills.

• Willingness to work on a rotating shift
• 2 to 3 years’ experience working in a BPO company (either back of house or front of house) or similar environment such as bank.
• Evidence that you have a strong attention to detail.
• Confident with numbers and financial figuresEvidence that you are highly trustworthy—examples of such could include
• Previous experience handling cashLong experience (3 years plus) in other financial institution or highly reputable firm.
• Personal reference from either a current company’s employee or a person of high community standing (Company owner, solicitor, high-level politician, etc.)
• The ideal candidate has BPO experience in a financial account, along with strong numbers and excel skills.
• Other background can be considered including:
• Payment team associates in similar industries
• Office workers in banks or insurance companies dealing with financial information
• Junior accounting staff in any industry
